Ingredients: Honeydew Melon, Hibiscus, Elderberries, Peppermint, Natural Flavor, Watermelon, Rosehip, Peppermint, Apple

How to brew

  • Tea: 4 g of dry tea per 8 fl oz (240 ml) of water
  • Water temperature: 212°F (100°C)
  • Steep time: 5–10 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
  • Cups per ounce: Approximately 7 cups per ounce (28.35 g), using 4 g per 8-fl-oz cup. This estimate counts the first infusion only.

Start with this guide and adjust to taste. A larger mug or stronger brew uses more tea and makes fewer cups per ounce.

Mandarin & Mint Tea Fruit Compote with Watermelon Mint

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 g Watermelon Mint
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups peeled, seedless mandarin segments
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh mint
  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla Bean Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Method

  1. Heat 1 cup water to 212°F. Steep the Watermelon Mint for 5–10 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
  2. Place the fruit, strained tea, sugar and fresh mint in a saucepan. Simmer gently for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the fruit softens and the juices thicken slightly.
  3. Stir in the lemon juice. Spoon over toast or plain yogurt; refrigerate any remainder promptly.
