Sunset Citrus Chai

Ingredients: Rooibos, Cinnamon, Ginger, Basil, Lemongrass, Natural Orange Flavor, Cloves, Black Pepper, Cardamom
How to brew
- Tea: 2.5 g of dry tea per 8 fl oz (240 ml) of water
- Water temperature: 212°F (100°C)
- Steep time: 5–7 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Cups per ounce: Approximately 11 cups per ounce (28.35 g), using 2.5 g per 8-fl-oz cup. This estimate counts the first infusion only.
Start with this guide and adjust to taste. A larger mug or stronger brew uses more tea and makes fewer cups per ounce.

Apple & Cardamom Tea Granita with Sunset Citrus Chai

Ingredients
- 2.5 g Sunset Citrus Chai
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups peeled, cored apple, finely diced
- ⅛ teaspoon Cardamom Powder
- ¼ cup Vanilla Bean Sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
- Heat 1 cup water to 212°F. Steep the Sunset Citrus Chai for 5–7 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Dissolve the sugar in the tea and let cool. Blend with the fruit, cardamom and lemon juice.
- Pour into a shallow freezer-safe dish. Freeze for 3–4 hours, scraping with a fork every 30–45 minutes, until flaky. Spoon into four chilled bowls.
