How to brew
- Tea: 4 g of dry tea per 8 fl oz (240 ml) of water
- Water temperature: 212°F (100°C)
- Steep time: 5–10 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Cups per ounce: Approximately 7 cups per ounce (28.35 g), using 4 g per 8-fl-oz cup. This estimate counts the first infusion only.
Start with this guide and adjust to taste. A larger mug or stronger brew uses more tea and makes fewer cups per ounce.

Apple & Raisin Tea Oat Bites with My Garden
Serves: 12 small bites
Ingredients
- 4 g My Garden
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup peeled, cored apple, finely diced
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 1½ cups rolled oats
- ½ cup pitted dates, chopped
- 2 tablespoons smooth almond butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Bean Sugar
Method
- Heat 1 cup water to 212°F. Steep the My Garden for 5–10 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Pour ¼ cup hot brewed tea over the dates and let stand for 10 minutes; reserve the remaining tea to drink.
- Pulse the soaked dates, oats, almond butter, sugar and raisins in a food processor until the mixture holds together.
- Roll into 12 balls and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve with the fresh fruit on the side.
