Ingredients: Spearmint, Elderberry, Hibiscus, Elderflower, Peppermint, Echinacea, Dandelion Root, Nettle, Blueberries, Natural Flavor

How to brew

  • Tea: 4 g of dry tea per 8 fl oz (240 ml) of water
  • Water temperature: 212°F (100°C)
  • Steep time: 5–10 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
  • Cups per ounce: Approximately 7 cups per ounce (28.35 g), using 4 g per 8-fl-oz cup. This estimate counts the first infusion only.

Start with this guide and adjust to taste. A larger mug or stronger brew uses more tea and makes fewer cups per ounce.

Melon & Mint Frozen Tea Frappe with Metropolitan Mist

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 4 g Metropolitan Mist
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups ripe honeydew melon, peeled, seeded and diced
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh mint
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Bean Sugar
  • 1 cup ice

Method

  1. Heat 1 cup water to 212°F. Steep the Metropolitan Mist for 5–10 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
  2. Stir the sugar into the tea, then refrigerate until cold.
  3. Blend the cold tea, fruit, fresh mint and ice until thick and smooth. Pour into two glasses and serve immediately.
