Plum & Vanilla Sweet Breakfast Oats with Magical Unicorn Sugar

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Magical Unicorn Sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ripe plums, pitted and diced
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup additional water
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Bean Sugar

Method

  1. Stir the Magical Unicorn Sugar into 1 cup warm water until evenly mixed.
  2. Combine the prepared mixture, additional water and oats in a saucepan. Simmer gently for 5–7 minutes, stirring, until creamy.
  3. Stir in the fruit, vanilla extract and sugar. Cook another 2 minutes; divide between two bowls.

Flavor profile and pairings

Flavor: fresh lemon, blueberry notes, raspberry notes over a sweet sugar base.

Try it with: tea, fruit, oatmeal, cookies and drink rims.
