How to brew
- Tea: 2.5 g of dry tea per 8 fl oz (240 ml) of water
- Water temperature: 212°F (100°C)
- Steep time: 3–5 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Cups per ounce: Approximately 11 cups per ounce (28.35 g), using 2.5 g per 8-fl-oz cup. This estimate counts the first infusion only.

Strawberry & Basil Tea Yogurt Bowls with London Lapsang Earl Grey

Ingredients
- 2.5 g London Lapsang Earl Grey
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup hulled strawberries, sliced
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh basil
- 1½ cups thick plain Greek yogurt
- ½ cup granola
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Bean Sugar
Method
- Heat 1 cup water to 212°F. Steep the London Lapsang Earl Grey for 3–5 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Dissolve the sugar in the tea and chill completely.
- Stir ¼ cup cold tea and the fresh basil into the yogurt; reserve the remaining tea to drink. Layer the yogurt, fruit and granola in two bowls and serve immediately.
