Strawberry & Rose Sweet Breakfast Quinoa with Hibiscus Sugar
Serves: 2
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Hibiscus Sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup hulled strawberries, sliced
- ½ teaspoon finely grated orange zest
- ½ cup dry quinoa, rinsed
- 2 teaspoons Rose Sugar
Method
- Stir the Hibiscus Sugar into 1 cup warm water until evenly mixed.
- Bring the prepared mixture and quinoa to a gentle boil in a saucepan. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, until tender.
- Rest off the heat for 5 minutes. Fluff and fold in the fruit, orange zest and sugar. Divide into two breakfast bowls.
