Ingredients: Rooibos, Ginger Root, Cinnamon, Shredded Coconut, Ginger, Coconut & Vanilla Flavor

How to brew

  • Tea: 2.5 g of dry tea per 8 fl oz (240 ml) of water
  • Water temperature: 212°F (100°C)
  • Steep time: 5–7 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
  • Cups per ounce: Approximately 11 cups per ounce (28.35 g), using 2.5 g per 8-fl-oz cup. This estimate counts the first infusion only.

Start with this guide and adjust to taste. A larger mug or stronger brew uses more tea and makes fewer cups per ounce.

Mango & Coconut Tea Rice Pudding with Coconut Vanilla Chai

Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • 2.5 g Coconut Vanilla Chai
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1½ cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup milk or oat milk
  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla Bean Sugar

Method

  1. Heat 1 cup water to 212°F. Steep the Coconut Vanilla Chai for 5–7 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
  2. Combine the strained tea, cooked rice, milk, sugar and shredded coconut in a saucepan. Simmer gently for 15–20 minutes, stirring often, until creamy.
  3. Fold in the fruit and warm for 2 minutes. Divide into bowls. Refrigerate leftovers promptly.
