Primarily grown in Turkey and Northern Syria, Aleppo chiles have very little heat and will not overpower a dish. add to pizza, pasta, salad, vegetables, potato salad, eggs, grilled beef, and roasted lamb. May improve digestion, reduce high blood pressure, reduce high cholesterol, clear a stuffed nose and protect against some types of cancer.

Corn & Zucchini Roasted Vegetable Dip with Aleppo Pepper

Ingredients
- ½ teaspoon Aleppo Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 cups thawed corn kernels
- 2 cups zucchini, cut into ½-inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon neutral cooking oil
- ½ cup thick plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- Pita wedges, for serving
Method
- Mix the featured seasoning with the olive oil and lemon juice.
- Heat the neutral oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add thawed corn kernels and zucchini, cut into ½-inch pieces. Cook for 3 minutes, then add ¼ cup water, cover and cook for 8–15 minutes, until tender. Uncover to evaporate excess water.
- Let the cooked vegetables cool until just warm. Blend with the yogurt, tahini and seasoning mixture until mostly smooth. Spoon into a bowl and serve with pita wedges.
