American Green
Made with organic yaupon holly, this smooth, grassy cup has a mellow sweetness. Contains 16 natural-fiber tea sachets. Yaupon contains caffeine.
How to brew
- Tea: 1 tea bag per 8 fl oz (240 ml) of water
- Water temperature: 212°F (100°C)
- Steep time: 5–7 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Cups per ounce: 1 cup per tea bag. For a dry-tea weight comparison, 1 ounce makes approximately 11 cups at 2.5 g per cup; actual bag weight and package count determine your yield.
Start with this guide and adjust to taste. A larger mug or stronger brew uses more tea and makes fewer cups per ounce.

Mango & Lime Tea Chia Pots with American Green

Ingredients
- 1 tea bag American Green
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup ripe mango, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lime zest
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- 2 teaspoons Lemon Sugar
Method
- Heat 1 cup water to 212°F. Steep the American Green for 5–7 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Dissolve the sugar in the tea and cool. Stir in the chia seeds and lime zest. Stir again after 10 minutes to break up clumps.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Divide into two bowls and top with the fruit.
