Celtic sea salt is a type of unrefined salt that is harvested from coastal areas in France and other regions. It has a gray color and a coarse texture due to the presence of minerals and moisture. Celtic sea salt has several health benefits, such as:

- It provides sodium, an essential mineral for regulating blood pressure, nerve and muscle function, and fluid balance in the body.
- It contains trace amounts of other minerals, such as magnesium, calcium, and potassium, that support various bodily processes and well-being.
- It helps balance the pH level of the body by removing excess acidity from the cells and tissues.
- It has healing properties that enhance the immune system, reduce inflammation, and promote wound recovery.
- It enhances the flavor of food and can be used as a finishing salt or a seasoning.
Celtic sea salt is a natural and healthy alternative to refined table salt, which may contain additives or chemicals. However, it is still high in sodium and should be consumed in moderation. To enjoy the benefits of Celtic sea salt, it is recommended to use it sparingly and to drink plenty of water.
