Olive Leaf
Olive leaf comes from the tree that produces olives. The dried leaves have a green, slightly bitter character rather than the fruity taste of the olive itself.
Prepare it according to the package directions for a botanical infusion, or use a small amount alongside lemon peel or mint to balance the bitterness. Research on olive-leaf extracts should not be assumed to describe a brewed cup of this whole leaf.
