Golden Flax Seeds, Organic
Organic golden flax seeds have a mild, nutty taste and a small, glossy seed. They can add texture to baked goods or be ground into oatmeal and cooked grain dishes.
Ground flax is easier to distribute evenly through batter or porridge than whole seeds. Follow the package directions for storage and preparation; the linked NIH fact sheet advises against eating raw or unripe flaxseed and explains that research on particular preparations does not establish an effect for this product.
