Turkey Rhubarb Root, Organic
Turkey rhubarb, also known as Indian rhubarb, Chinese rhubarb and da huang, is a different species of rhubarb than the one you might be accustomed to eating in a pie. Turkey rhubarb is also widely cultivated for its root, which contains a number of tannins, flavonoids and anthraquinone compounds, including aloe-emodin.
Do not use during pregnancy or while nursing. This herb is not recommended for people with a history of arthritis or gout.
