How to brew
- Tea: 2 g of dry tea per 8 fl oz (240 ml) of water
- Water temperature: 180°F (82°C)
- Steep time: 3–5 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Cups per ounce: Approximately 14 cups per ounce (28.35 g), using 2 g per 8-fl-oz cup. This estimate counts the first infusion only.
Start with this guide and adjust to taste. A larger mug or stronger brew uses more tea and makes fewer cups per ounce.

Strawberry & Cocoa Tea Jelly Cups with Chocolate Strawberry
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 2 g Chocolate Strawberry
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup hulled strawberries, sliced
- 2 teaspoons Cocoa Powder
- 2 teaspoons unflavored powdered gelatin
- ½ cup cold water
- ½ cup unsweetened apple juice
- 2 tablespoons Vanilla Bean Sugar
Method
- Heat 1 cup water to 180°F. Steep the Chocolate Strawberry for 3–5 minutes, then strain or remove the tea bag.
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let bloom for 5 minutes. Stir the sugar and cocoa powder into the hot, strained tea.
- Whisk the hot tea into the softened gelatin until completely dissolved. Add the apple juice.
- Divide the fruit between four small cups. Pour in the gelatin mixture and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, until set.
